About Me

Hello and welcome to my little corner of the Internetz! My name is Cristina and I am just your average 20-something lady who recently packed up her life and moved 700 miles away from home to Charlotte, North Carolina.

My husband and I tied the knot after seven years together on June 30, 2012 in Troy, NY. During my engagement I was accepted as a blogger at Weddingbee where I documented my wedding journey. You can read all about that shizz here.

Now we are a boring old married couple and proud parents of a California Kingsnake named Slitherbutt and a Maine Coon named Luna.

Surprisingly, they both like the water.

I, on the other hand, am not much of a fan of water. I mean, drinking it, sure. It's my favorite fluid! But I'm actually allergic to the cold (yes, this is a real thing called cold urticaria) so I usually avoid cold bodies of water like pools and oceans. Which is unfortunate because I'm pretty sure I was a beach bum in a previous life.

When I'm not suffering from hives I'm learning all about our new city and attempting to decorate and organize our apartment. My current method involves looking at inspiration on Pinterest all day, deciding I am nowhere near talented enough to tackle any of these things, and giving up and ordering a pizza.
